The fashion world mourns the loss of one of the most important photographers in history, Peter Lindbergh. Considered one of the greatest in his specialty, Lindbergh is rememberd as the photographer of the nineties´ super models thanks to his cover in the British Vogue of 1990, where he gathered Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlintong, Linda Evangelista or Naomi Campbell among others.

But beyond this cover Peter Lindbergh knew how to create a personal, simple and sublime style that moved away from the ornate and transgressive aesthetics of the seventies and eighties. The German photographer drifted away of important names of the time like Helmut Newton or Guy Bourdin creating an aesthetic and visual discourse closer to documentary photography than to the eccentric scenes created by his predecessors. Closer to Avedon's ideal, he was responsible for natural poses, washed face, freshness and naturalness in general gaining prominence.

Black and white photography was one of his hallmarks because as he admitted: "when a face is close to perfection, portraying in color detracts from it." He always opposed retouching and postproduction, unlike many of his colleagues, because he saw beauty in the natural, in the simplicity and in the calm. He preferred to play with the lights and, especially, with the movement.

Great lover of Spain, Peter Lindbergh was a regular of the fashion covers of our country, especially those of Vogue. Just a couple of months ago we had the great pleasure of seeing one of our designs photographed by this wonderful artist. The singer Rosalia posed for Lindbergh with our long taffeta dress from the Lucky 27 collection, Autumn-Winter 19-20 for the July edition of Vogue Spain, leaving for the memory some wonderful photographs that we will always remember with love. We will always be grateful to his vision, the passion he put into his work and his love for every little detail.

Goodbye Mr. Lindbergh, we will miss your art very much.
