Still excited about the news, we want to tell you in detail the process of creating one of our designs from Lucky 27 Fall/Winter 19-20 collection. This is the top that, a few days ago, Queen Letizia of Spain wore to attend the previous concert to the Princess of Asturias Awards.

This top is one of the most special garments in the collection due to a delicate handmade mini pleat, made manually, covering the entire body. It is made in powdery pink taffeta and topped with ostrich feathers in the same color, although its artisanal elaboration technique can be applied to different fabrics. Inside it has stays and a stronger fabric than the taffeta to give it the necessary stiffness to this strapless top that is similar to a corset. This design is closed by an invisible zipper that, in this case, is topped with a puller on the same fabric as the top. And it also has a black grosgrain bow as a belt to mark the waist.

Creation process

As it happens in every of our designs, the details and the care with which we make each garment are the most important for us. That is transmitted in the accessible luxury that we always highlight as one of our hallmarks And in this case, the design chosen by Doña Letizia is one of the clearest references to that accesible luxury in the entire collection since it involves a sewing craft work of more than forty eight hours by our dressmakers.

The outfit chosen by the Queen is, for us, one of the most successful options for a cocktail or event, especially at night, in which the dress code is usually more strict but that allows us to go beyond the classic dresses or skirts. It can be a perfect night look to be the ideal guest when the occasion requires it.

From this space dedicated to our readers, we want to say how grateful we are that Queen Letizia has chosen one of our looks for the first time, supporting, as usual, the Made in Spain fashion.
