Only a few hours left for our next show and we have almost everything ready to live, once again, with the illusion of the first day, which means presenting a new collection to the public.
As we have told you in previous posts, before each show, we live some moments of hard work but very rewarding. They are the backstage before each show or the fittings a few days before. But today we want to talk about all the work that there is to organize each show.
Everything starts a few months before, with the closing of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week calendar when, by lot, we are assigned a date and an hour to show our collection. At this moment we started to design the new collection with the fabrics that we have previously chosen. As we have already commented, for us each collection is born in the fabric. From them we take different references and inspirations and look for a common thread so that our dresses, blouses, pants and skirts designed for cocktails and events have a bond of union and tell the story we want to talk about.
Thanks to our great team composed of pattern makers and dressmakers, our designs come true after many hours of work in which doubts arise about cuts, structures, patterns ... and that sometimes make us change our mind about what we had planned.
But, in addition to the designs, there are other important decisions that must be made before each show. The models selection, the beauty look or the staging, are some of the themes that steal us time before each show and that, together with the choice of accessories, seem fundamental to us to communicate what we want with each collection.
The result? The final test with the public. In just ten minutes the work of months sees the light.
